Matt Manning started the Restaurant Rescue project so I had been looking forward to visiting forever. The wine list Grub&Vine has is extensive and curated excellently if you are a discerning wine drinker. The tasting menu was elegantly put together and executed with such finesse. The beetroot and chèvre went together so well, but the ham hock roulades with fig and date were out of this world. It is a lovely setting and we mopped up jus so marvelous with the lamb we wished we could sneak our plates out for a lick. Pity to be civilised sometimes. I treated my cousin for her birthday and she especially enjoyed the fish. I am not a huge fan of dessert but Grub & Vine left me with no regrets. They also have a lovely cheese plate.
Lovely food and wonderful atmosphere in the middle of town.
Lovely table beside an open window looking onto Bree street. Very well informed staff. Super lunch.
