Booked for lunch via Restaurant Week. They sent confirmed booking and then a reminder a few days before booked date and time. Reminder showed increase in price from R545 to R645 without explanation. On the day of the booking I discovered on the restaurant website that it doesn’t open for lunch. I phoned the hotel who gave me a telephone number for the restaurant. I left a voicemail but no one bothered to respond. Fortunately we saved ourselves a wasted journey to Franschhoek.
I therefore cannot comment on the quality of the food or the atmosphere.

Chef Kyle Norris comes from anywhere but the wild - he has an impressive track record and is known and admired by many residents and restaurant regulars in the Franschhoek Valley in the Western Cape.

His cuisine is inspired by what grows wild in the garden on the property and on the mountains. Expect the plentiful citrus and herbs to find their way to your plate. Kyle and his committed team work together to conceptualise interesting flavour combinations, ensuring that dishes and their premium ingredients are carefully prepared from scratch.
