I was not really impressed by the food there.
The starter (foccacia) was fine, but after that, it was not that great - especially the fish - most probably frozen or over cook.

Definitely not a fine dining restaurant...

Such a lovely setting on a windfree night watching the city lights and harbour activity. The Apertivo special was an added bonus - excellent service and generous portions. Recommended.

Booked a table for restaurant week. I arrived before the time. Management kept me waiting for 15 minutes before finding my table even though the restaurant was semi empty. I requested a table next to the window but I got placed elsewhere. We ordered drinks which came after about 30+ minutes. Ordered food which arrived at our table over an hour later. Waitress said she would find out from the kitchen what was going on. Didn't return. What was advertised on the menu for restaurant week was a different quality at the actual restaurant and lacked ingredients. I ordered the steak. It arrived tough for me and my guests even though we all asked for medium ...it arrived almost well-done. I sent mine back it arrived almost the same. I decided to just eat it as my guests had finished their dinner . I ordered the chocolate mousse it arrived frozen and tasted fatty. My cocktail lacked actual alcohol in it and I ordered 2. And that final clincher was that on set menus they charged you 10% as gratuity automatically. We were a party of 3 people not 6-10 . When my bill came they put 10% on the entire bill not just the 3-course meal . A truly dreadful experience . Never returning .

We ate the gnocchi and steak. The steak was more medium to well done rather then medium rare. The gnocchi sauce was nice but a bit rich and very creamy. Desert chocolate tart strepitosa?? was really good. View and setting of the restaurant is great. Our waiter was pleasant. A good experience.

Home-made pasta and authentic Italian sauces, steaks and seafood are available from the charcoal grill. Pizzas are created in our wood fired oven with thin base (Roman Style) and thick base (Neapolitan Style). To stay faithful to the original recipes, the majority of our ingredients and wines are fully imported from Italy.

Being located on the second floor of Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre, above the quay, gives the restaurant commanding views of the magnificent Table Mountain and the working harbour below. It's the perfect setting for sundowners, lazy afternoons and leisurely evenings.
