Read full reviewIf it had not been for the excellent service by Ryan our waiter throughout the meal the overall evening would have been a complete waste of time and particularly money. Overall seasonings were heavy handed with chilli heat or similar used in too many dishes. Main course lamb was good albeit small but its delicate flavour was overwhelmed by the accompanying vegetables. Last but not least the minute creme brulee was the worst I have ever tried and consequently not eaten. Several ingredients mentioned on the menu were not included in the dishes. Overall poor value for money.
Excellent service, beautiful decor. Food was good but not exceptional. We had the Restaurant Week menu of 6 courses at R650pp and one of the courses was a Palate Cleanser ?!?!?! Very small plates. We saw diners with their normal Ala carte menu and I think this is where their strength lies.
Hada fun evening and our waiter was really great!
The tasting menu was a delicious choice. An opportunity to taste different dishes. Tyrone our waiter was knowledgeable about the food and wine. He recommended an excellent wine which we thoroughly enjoyed with our food.
Great food with amazing service. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
