My husband and I went out for a romantic evening. We had a wonderful, warm welcome and the service was very friendly. the waiter was a novice, but recovered quickly. The atmosphere was like being on holiday at the coast! a slight breeze and fresh air contributed to that! I would definitely go back and take my friends along!
Thank you!
I was happy with everything-from Hospitality point of view the waiter was the best. Attentive, friendly and quick to respond. The Food was spot on and the atmosphere was brilliant. It did rain and we had to shift but it took nothing from the experience-we loved it.
We went to Prosopa for lunch and enjoyed it very much! I really enjoyed the food and the service was great! Will definitely go back and also recommend this restaurant.
I loved the décor and warm feel of the restaurant. Would be lovely on a hot summers evening. Food was hearty and flavorsome and portions size good. Corkage fee of R98, but you have to take wine that they do not have, no exceptions.... :-( They have over 170 wines on their wine list. Overall it was a good experience.
Intimate little restaurant serving classic Greek dishes. Food was quick, service was great. I can really recommend the brinjal and parmesan!

About Prosopa

Prosopa
The elegant, stylish interior designed by renowned local architect, Callie van der Merwe, creates a sophisticated, fresh atmosphere at Prosopa, situated in the heart of Waterkloof Heights.
Prosopa’s extensive Mediterranean menu is influenced by the flavours of Greece, Portugal and Spain. The signature lamb dish Kleftiko is deboned leg of lamb wrapped in vine leaves & foil stuffed with feta, fresh tomato, herbs and spices and slow roasted in the oven. An option one cannot stay away from is the fantastic array of mezze one can have on a platter or individually.
The extensive award-winning wine list offers many a gem to be enjoyed beside the fireplace on a cold winter’s night or on the veranda with the curtains blowing in a soft summer breeze.
