The best part of the meal was the Tofu pudding as it was substantial and was delicious. The rest of the other three courses were tiny. Especially the main course which was 6 small prawns - that was it. Nothing else in the bowl was edible. We asked the waitress - she said that was the Cantonese style of cooking.

Read full reviewVery disappointed. Portions of food very small on the restaurant week menu. Taste okay, but not blown away. One small potsticker, followed by 4 small pieces of squid, then 6 prawns. No sides were given. The “ very not” “ tiramisu” was the nicest part, but again very small and plain . Surrounding tables who were ordering from the regular menu… food looked more generous and tasty with rice/ noodles accompanying.
Huge round bar taking up the middle of the restaurant, not aesthetically pleasing at all. Our waiter was very sweet and very helpful , but totally inexperienced. Very poor wine list.
I had stopped doing restaurant week for a couple of years due to this sort of experience , and unfortunately my first attempt again has confirmed my reasons … I probably just picked the wrong place, but surely these establishments could see restaurant week as a way of showcasing themselves rather than offer an inadequate overpriced “special” menu.
