Menus presented beautifully, we made our choices and nothing disappointed. For me, the beetroot salad was the top starter but everyone thoroughly enjoyed both the carpaccio and salad. We all chose beef cheek for mains which was rich and delicious. I would say my top meal of that type I have ever had in a restaurant. For dessert, we opted for both the chocolate fudge and mango sorbet. Both an absolute delight to eat although next time, based on the richness of the beef cheek, I would choose the sorbet to finish. Service was discreet and attentive throughout and we were offered a tour of the house which was interesting, informative and at times quite stirring. Would have loved to have finished off with Madiba's favourite dessert wine but declined as I was driving. The chef came to join us briefly to sign her cookbook which was just the cherry on the top of a lovely experience that I would recommend to anyone.

Amazing food, I wish the portions were a little bigger. Lovely atmosphere and baby friendly too. Took my 7 months baby with. Make sure you also do the tour

In memory of his love for food, our fine dining restaurant serves as a tribute to his favourite dishes as previously prepared by his long-time personal chef, Xoliswa Ndoyiya.
