For Restaurant Week The Eatery offers a great sample of some of the favourites on their menu - with generous portions at a very attractive price. The atmosphere is relaxed with the inside seating area looking out though large windows that open up to the outside area with a warm fire burning most of the time. The inside seating area is partitioned with large glass screens, so that you can feel more comfortable during the current COVID-19 pandemic. The Eatery serves a wide menu, with everything that we have tried delicious. The wine selection is interesting and offers you the opportunity to browse and select your bottle for the table. The wine bar has a small shop where you can buy wine, freshly baked ciabatta and other gifts. Overall The Eatery is very well priced and definitely my nr 1 pick in Somerset West.

The food was delicious and I cannot find a single fault with the entire experience. Benedict was an attentive & gracious host and explained each dish down to the finest detail. The patrons were a diverse group of bubbly South Africans and you cannot possibly leave the Eatery feeling disappointed. Definitely need to spend more time next to the fabulous 'Wall of Wine' on my next visit. For guests who feel nervous about safety - the Eatery has the most beautiful and functional division screens. This was well worth the 50km drive.

Each day there will always be at least 2 kitchens operating.
Many days all 3 will be open.
Food comes hot and fresh as it is ready to your table.
If you want to eat together you need to order from the same kitchen for each course you want to enjoy as the orders go to 3 separate kitchens and get made fresh to order we do not coordinate between the kitchens.
