Beautiful setting, amazing food, and great service from everyone. Such a pleasant experience.
Great food, and great to be welcomed like a friend :)

Read full reviewWe went to Cavalli for lunch on a beautiful, warm spring day as part of Restaurant Week. Despite visiting what we considered all of the top places over the years, Cavalli had slipped through the net; probably on well out-of-date comments from friends in Somerset West. Booking was easy and professionally managed, the welcome warm. The grounds and building are outstanding and the views breathtaking. We had a front-row table on the deck overlooking the lake, with plenty of space around. Service was as good as anywhere in the Cape, but despite all this the star of the show was the food! A shortened selection from the main menu offered a good selection. My beef tartare was delicious with the different elements combining perfectly. My wife’s deshelled mussels looked and tasted good. We both enjoyed every bit of the melt-in-the-mouth confit pork. Dark chocolate dessert was very tasty but just tipped us over the edge. The Cavalli White Knight Chenin blanc was such a good accompaniment that we bought a case to take home. Looking forward to the next visit.
I highly recommend Cavalli Restaurant. Stunning setting and views, exceptional service from the front desk to all the servers. Each course of our set menu was absolutely delicious.
What a stunning afternoon. Exquisite food, generous portions, excellent value, beautiful setting, amazing attention to detail. Had the mussels starter | pork belly main | dark chocolate dessert... Only suggestion I'd make is for 2 of you, choose both desserts and share the experience. Thank you Cavalli
